The short version

The tools are free, need no account, and are offered as they are. Check anything important before you rely on it: a calculator is a starting point, not a professional opinion.

What this site is

toin is a collection of calculators and conversion tools, published by Marcio Toledo at Toledo Interactive. Using them means accepting what is written here. If you do not accept it, do not use the site.

There is no account to create, nothing to sign, and nothing to pay. The calculations run in your own browser, so there is no service being held open on your behalf and nothing you could lose access to.

The results carry no warranty

The tools are built carefully. The date and astronomy engines are covered by an automated test suite, and the astronomical figures are checked against independent published sources. That is a reason to trust them, not a guarantee that every result is correct in every case.

The site is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. We do not promise that a result is accurate, that a page is available, or that either will stay that way. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of the site, and where the law does not allow a limitation, it simply does not apply.

What the tools are not

• Not medical advice. The body mass index, calorie, ovulation and due date tools produce estimates from general formulas. They do not know your history and cannot examine you. Decisions about health belong with a qualified professional.
• Not financial advice. The loan and interest tools use a reference rate that is an illustration, not an offer. Real contracts carry fees, taxes and conditions the calculation does not include.
• Not a legal or official source. Holiday dates and business-day counts follow the law as we understand it, and the law changes. For a deadline that matters, confirm it against the official calendar.
• Not an auditable draw. The random tools run in your browser and prove nothing to anyone who was not watching your screen. They are fine for deciding who goes first, and unfit for anything where the outcome must be demonstrable to someone else.

Using the site

You may use the tools for anything you like, including at work, and you may link to any page freely. What is not allowed is trying to break the site or use it against other people: automated requests at a volume that degrades it for others, attempts to circumvent its security, or republishing whole pages as if they were yours.

The text, page structure and code are ours. Results you calculate are yours: a number produced by a formula belongs to whoever asked for it, and we claim nothing over it.

Advertising and other sites

The site is paid for by advertising. Ads are served by third parties and the choice of ad is theirs, not ours: an ad appearing here is not a recommendation. The same applies to any external page we link to: once you leave, what happens there is governed by that site's own terms, and we do not control it.

What data is collected, and by whom, is set out in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

Changes and interruptions

Tools may be added, changed or withdrawn, and pages may be unavailable while things are being fixed. These terms may also change; the date at the top says when they last did, and the version published here is the one that applies.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, where the publisher is established. This does not remove any protection you have under the consumer law of the country you live in.
